I am a bilingual media professional with experience in editorial strategy and reporting. I have covered local beats like entertainment, music, and education, focusing on learning new ways to implement data and emerging media technologies into my storytelling. I am also Editor-in-Chief of Jerk Magazine, a student-run publication covering campus events, local arts and music, and national politics. This position has taught me about editorial workflows (and how to make them more effective!) as well as other structural aspects of publishing, an equally important element of journalism.
